Orum

Parallel dialler that connects sales reps only when a human answers

As of 31 August 2026, Orum's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. Orum dials several numbers at once and only drops the representative into a call when a person picks up, which multiplies conversations per hour rather than dials per hour. Softwr lists it under Sales Enablement. Orum is available on Web, Browser extension.

Overview

What Orum does

Orum is an outbound calling platform built around parallel dialling. It dials multiple prospects simultaneously, detects and discards voicemail systems and phone trees, and connects the representative only when a live human answers, which removes the dead time that dominates manual cold calling. It layers on local presence numbers, automatic call logging into the CRM, call recording, coaching and listen-in for managers, and analytics on connect rates by list and time of day. The reason it is bought is arithmetic rather than features. A representative manually dialling might have three or four conversations an hour; a parallel dialler working a decent list can multiply that several times over. Where that changes a business case is in sales development teams whose model depends on a fixed number of conversations per representative per day, because it either lets them hit the number with fewer people or hit a much higher number with the same people. Buyers are sales development leaders at companies running outbound at scale. The commercial terms are the sticking point. Orum no longer publishes rates; independent reporting puts the entry Launch package around 250 US dollars per user per month billed annually with a three-seat minimum, and higher Ascend tiers materially above that, while Orum own pricing page confirms a nine-seat minimum for its standard packaging and an Ascend Limited option for staff who do not dial full time. All plans are annual, so a team that shrinks pays for seats it is not using.

What people use it for

  • A 20-person sales development team that needs to triple daily conversations without adding headcount
  • An outbound team whose reps spend most of the day listening to voicemail greetings and phone trees
  • A sales leader who needs live listen and whisper coaching on calls made by new starters
  • A team with a large but low-connect-rate list where reaching enough humans manually is arithmetically impossible

The honest half

Where it falls short

Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Orum.

  • Orum removed public pricing, so the only figures available are independent estimates around 250 US dollars per user per month at entry and several hundred above that for Ascend, and you cannot verify either without a sales call.
  • Standard packaging carries a nine-seat minimum and every plan is annual, so a team of four cannot buy the main product and a team that shrinks mid-year keeps paying for empty seats.
  • Parallel dialling burns through phone numbers and carrier reputation quickly, and once numbers get flagged as spam by carriers the connect rate advantage that justified the cost erodes.
  • Consent and call recording rules differ by jurisdiction and several use cases that are routine in the United States are restricted in parts of Europe, so multinational teams cannot deploy it uniformly.
  • The tool multiplies conversations but does nothing about list quality; pointed at bad data it simply reaches more wrong people faster, and teams without a working data source see no return on a five-figure annual commitment.

Answered, with sources

Questions people ask

Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

Does Orum publish pricing?

No longer. Independent estimates put entry near 250 US dollars per user per month billed annually, but treat that as an estimate.

What is the minimum team size?

Orum own pricing page cites a nine-seat minimum for standard packaging, with reported three-seat availability on the entry Launch package.

Can I pay monthly?

No. All plans require an annual commitment.

Does it replace Outreach or Salesloft?

No. It handles the dialling and connects into your sequence platform, which still owns cadence and email.
