Highspot: Stronger content search, adoption analytics and seller guidance for the common enablement problem

Revenue enablement with interactive value selling calculators and forecasting from the InsightSquared acquisition
As of 31 August 2026, Mediafly's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. Mediafly is usually chosen for one thing its larger rivals do not do well: interactive ROI and total cost of ownership calculators that a seller runs live with a buyer. Softwr lists it under Sales Enablement. Mediafly is available on Web, iOS, Android, Windows.
Overview
Mediafly is a Chicago company founded in 2006 that sells revenue enablement: sales content management and delivery, buyer engagement rooms, interactive value selling tools, and revenue intelligence and forecasting acquired with InsightSquared in 2022. Content is delivered through a seller application that works offline, a legacy strength from its origins serving field sales in industries where connectivity was unreliable. The distinguishing capability is value selling. Through the Alinean acquisition, Mediafly ships tools for building interactive business case calculators, so a seller can model return on investment with a prospect in the meeting and leave behind a document the buyer can defend internally. Highspot and Seismic focus on content findability and training; Mediafly focuses on the artefact that unblocks a procurement committee. For deals that die in finance review rather than in evaluation, that is the difference that justifies the switch. Buyers are enterprise and upper mid-market B2B sales organisations with long cycles and committee decisions, typically manufacturing, technology and financial services. The trade-off is coherence. The platform is an assembly of acquired products with different interfaces and separate licences, and building a credible ROI model requires benchmark data and consulting work that is sold as services on top of the licence.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Mediafly.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Because your deals need business cases rather than better content search. If content findability is the problem, Highspot is the stronger product.
No. It requires your own value drivers and benchmark data, and that build is normally a services engagement of several weeks.
Pipeline analytics and forecasting, which moved Mediafly into revenue intelligence alongside content enablement.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Mediafly, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
