Real-time email coaching that scores sales emails as you write them in your inbox
As of 31 August 2026, Lavender has a free plan and paid plans start at $29/month. Lavender scores a sales email while you type it and tells you what to cut, based on analysis of a very large body of sales email and reply data. Softwr lists it under Sales Enablement. Lavender is available on Web, Browser extension.
Overview
Lavender is a browser extension and inbox add-in that scores a sales email as it is written, grading it on length, reading level, tone, personalisation and formatting, and offering specific rewrites. It pulls publicly available context on the recipient into the composer so a representative can personalise without opening five tabs, and gives managers an aggregated view of how their team writes and how those scores correlate with replies. The company has since added Ora, an autonomous agent that researches prospects and drafts outbound emails rather than coaching a human writing them. The distinguishing choice is coaching over generation. Most sales AI writes the email; Lavender tells the representative why theirs is bad, in the moment, which changes how they write the next hundred emails. For a sales leader, that is a durable improvement in a team skill rather than a dependency on a tool, and it is the reason enablement functions buy it as a training instrument rather than as a productivity one. Buyers are individual sellers and sales enablement leaders, mostly in business-to-business software. Pricing is published and modest at the individual level, from a free tier limited to five emails a month, 29 US dollars a month for Starter, 49 for Individual Pro and 99 per seat for teams, with roughly ten per cent off on annual billing. Ora, the agent product, is priced in a different bracket entirely at around 500 US dollars per agent per month, so a team evaluating Lavender should be clear which product the quote refers to.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Lavender.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

The coach does not. It scores and rewrites inside your existing inbox or sequence tool. The separate Ora product does draft and send autonomously.
Yes, five analysed and five personalised emails per month, forever.
Yes, alongside Gmail and the major sequence platforms.
It reliably improves the mechanics that correlate with replies: length, reading level and personalisation. It cannot fix a bad target list.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Lavender, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish.
