Gong: If deal analytics and coaching depth matter more than price and you have an enterprise budget

Meeting assistant, scheduler and conversation intelligence sold as separate priced layers
As of 31 August 2026, Avoma starts at $19/month. Avoma bundles a note-taker, a scheduling tool and conversation intelligence in one product, starting at 19 US dollars per user per month. Softwr lists it under Sales Enablement. Avoma is made by Avoma, Inc., available on Web, iOS, Android, Chrome extension.
Overview
Avoma records, transcribes and summarises meetings, writes structured notes against configurable templates, pushes those notes into a CRM, and layers scheduling and conversation intelligence on the same base. Unlike single-purpose note-takers it also includes 1:1, group and round-robin booking links, so a small revenue team can replace both a scheduling tool and a meeting assistant with one subscription. The commercial structure is the thing to understand before comparing prices. The base seat is Startup at 19 US dollars per user per month annually, Organization at 24, Enterprise at 39. Conversation Intelligence and Revenue Intelligence are add-ons at 29 per seat per month each annually, and Lead Router is 19. So a sales team that wants deal analytics and call scoring is realistically at 53 per user per month, not 19, and a team that wants revenue intelligence as well is at 82. Compared against a note-taker plus a separate conversation intelligence tool the maths often still favours Avoma, but only if you calculate it with the add-ons included. Viewers and collaborators are free; only people whose meetings get recorded need a paid seat, which meaningfully reduces the count for teams with many occasional attendees. Buyers are small and mid-market revenue teams that want CRM-ready notes without an enterprise conversation intelligence contract. The trade-off is depth: at the top of this market Gong does more with the same call data, and Avoma is explicit that its Conversation Intelligence is limited on the Organization tier.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Avoma.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Only for the base meeting assistant on annual billing. Adding Conversation Intelligence takes it to 53 per user per month, and Revenue Intelligence takes it to 82.
No. Viewers and collaborators are free. Paid seats are only required for users whose own meetings are recorded.
For most teams, yes. Group and round-robin booking arrive on the Organization tier; Startup includes 1:1 links only.
Not at the enterprise end. Avoma covers the common conversation intelligence use cases at a fraction of the price but does not match Gong on deal analytics or coaching depth.
