SilverCloud is a guided digital cognitive behavioural therapy platform that began at Trinity College Dublin and was acquired by the American telehealth company Amwell in 2021. It is now sold as SilverCloud by Amwell. Members work through structured programmes for depression, anxiety, sleep, stress and related conditions, and in the guided model a supporter or clinician reviews progress and provides asynchronous written feedback at intervals. That supporter element is what separates it from unguided self help content, and it is also the part that costs money to staff. The distinguishing asset is the evidence.
