LabVIEW: If you need to build custom measurement and analysis applications rather than buy a packaged vibration product

Vibration analysis, dynamic balancing and wireless monitoring sold from a public online store
As of 1 September 2026, Erbessd Instruments starts at $999/one-time. A Mexican and United States instrument maker whose DigivibeMX software and Phantom sensors are listed with prices in a normal web shop. Softwr lists it under Manufacturing. Erbessd Instruments is available on Windows, Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Erbessd Instruments makes portable vibration analysers, dynamic balancing equipment and wireless condition monitoring sensors, plus the software that drives them. DigivibeMX is the Windows analysis and balancing application, handling route data collection, spectrum and waveform analysis, single and two-plane balancing and laser alignment workflows. The Phantom range is the wireless side: triaxial vibration nodes, infrared and thermocouple temperature, current, RPM and general-purpose 4 to 20 milliamp and 0 to 10 volt modules, reporting through a gateway that handles up to 250 sensors, with either a local database via DigivibeMX or the browser-based EI-Analytic platform. The distinctive thing is commercial rather than technical. Erbessd runs a public online store with prices and stock for individual sensors, modules and gateways, with Phantom sensors listed from around a thousand dollars. Established competitors in vibration hardware quote per project and treat pricing as a negotiation. For a reliability engineer trying to instrument twenty machines and prove a business case before asking for capital, being able to price the pilot from a web page and expense a starter kit is often what gets the programme started at all. Buyers are mid-market manufacturers, contract vibration analysts and maintenance teams building their own programmes, strongest in Latin America and the United States. The trade-offs are scale and depth. Erbessd is a small manufacturer competing against SKF, Emerson and Bently Nevada, so enterprise procurement teams will find limited global service coverage, thinner API and enterprise integration options, and none of the safety certification that machine protection duties require. It monitors and diagnoses; it does not trip machines.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Erbessd Instruments.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Answered, with sources
Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
Yes. Erbessd runs a public store listing individual sensors, modules and both gateways with prices and stock, which is unusual in this sector.
No. DigivibeMX keeps data in a local database, and EI-Analytic is the optional browser-based alternative using the same sensors.
Gateway 2.0 supports up to 250 sensors; a USB gateway is available for direct PC connection.
No. It is monitoring and diagnostics only, with no safety certification for protection duties.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Erbessd Instruments, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
