Configurable CMMS from Fluke Reliability for asset-heavy operations
As of 30 August 2026, eMaint starts at $69/user/month. A long-established CMMS now owned by Fluke, whose advantage is configurability and condition monitoring rather than a slick mobile app. Softwr lists it under Manufacturing. eMaint is made by Fluke Reliability, available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
eMaint is a computerised maintenance management system that has been sold since the mid-1980s and is now part of Fluke Reliability. It covers work orders, preventive maintenance, asset registers, parts inventory, purchasing and compliance reporting, and is aimed at operations where the asset base is large and the maintenance regime is formal. Its distinguishing property is configurability. Screens, fields, workflows and reports can be reshaped without development work, which suits organisations whose maintenance process already exists and must be reproduced rather than replaced. That is the opposite trade to the mobile-first products: more setup, more flexibility at the end of it. The Fluke ownership matters in practice. Condition monitoring data from Fluke sensors and test instruments feeds into eMaint directly, which is a real advantage for teams moving from calendar-based maintenance toward condition-based work, and a reason it appears on shortlists that would otherwise be decided on interface alone.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about eMaint.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Fluke Reliability, part of Fortive. That is why condition monitoring data from Fluke instruments integrates directly.
The Team plan is 69 USD per user per month with a three-user minimum, so roughly 2,484 USD a year at the floor. Professional and Enterprise are quoted.
Different trade. eMaint is more configurable and better on condition-based maintenance; the others are markedly better on mobile experience and speed of setup. Asset complexity should decide it.
Weeks rather than days for anything beyond a basic work order setup. The configurability that makes it flexible is also what makes setup a project.
Poorly. The three-user minimum and the configuration effort both assume an organisation large enough to have a maintenance function rather than a maintenance person.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for eMaint, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
