Asset-based machine health monitoring platform from SKF, tying wireless sensors, route collection and remote diagnostics together
As of 1 September 2026, SKF Enlight Centre's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. The software layer of SKF condition monitoring, and it is asset-based rather than measurement-based, which suits marine and plant engineers but assumes you are buying into SKF hardware and SKF remote diagnostic services. Softwr lists it under Manufacturing. SKF Enlight Centre is made by AB SKF, available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
SKF Enlight Centre is a web-based condition monitoring platform organised around assets rather than measurement points. It gathers data from SKF Enlight Collect IMx-1 wireless mesh sensors, the Enlight ProCollect handheld route application, and online IMx systems, and presents machine health at the level of a pump or a gearbox with the underlying measurements available beneath. It connects directly to SKF Rotating Equipment Performance Centres, where SKF analysts review data under a service contract. The distinguishing point is who SKF is. The bearing manufacturer diagnosing bearing faults has a genuine data advantage in failure-mode libraries, and the marine segment in particular has adopted Enlight Centre because a shipowner cannot staff a vibration analyst per vessel and SKF remote diagnostics fills that gap. The commercial consequence is a tightly coupled stack: Enlight Centre is designed for SKF sensing hardware and SKF services, and buying the software without the rest is not really the offer. Who buys it: shipping operators, plus process, metals, mining and pulp and paper plants that already run SKF bearings and want condition monitoring without building an in-house analysis capability. The trade-off is vendor concentration. You are handing bearing supply, sensing hardware, software and diagnostic judgement to a single supplier, and SKF publishes no pricing for any part of it.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about SKF Enlight Centre.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

SKF Enlight is a family. Enlight Centre is the web software; Enlight Collect IMx-1 is the wireless sensing hardware and Enlight AI is a separate analytics product.
Not meaningfully. The platform is designed around SKF sensing hardware and SKF service delivery.
Only under a remote diagnostic services contract with an SKF Rotating Equipment Performance Centre, priced separately.
Yes, marine is one of its primary segments and it is designed for intermittent satellite connectivity.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for SKF Enlight Centre, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish.
