Mention: If you want a similar monitoring scope and prefer its alerting and publishing workflow

Social listening and media monitoring with published prices and a hard cap on mentions per month
As of 31 August 2026, Brand24 starts at $199/month. One of the few listening tools that publishes its full price list, from 199 to 599 US dollars a month on annual billing. Softwr lists it under Social Media. Brand24 is made by Brand24 S.A., available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Brand24 monitors mentions of keywords across social networks, news sites, blogs, forums, podcasts, newsletters and review sites, with sentiment analysis, influencer scoring, reach estimates and alerting. It also sells an AI visibility module that tracks how a brand appears in answers from large language model assistants, which is a newer requirement most listening vendors have only recently added. The reason it appears on shortlists that otherwise contain Brandwatch and Talkwalker is transparency. Brand24 publishes every tier: Individual at 199 US dollars per month billed annually with 3 keywords and 2,000 mentions, Team at 299 with 7 keywords and 10,000 mentions, Pro at 399 with 12 keywords and 40,000 mentions, Business at 599 with 25 keywords and 100,000 mentions, and Enterprise from 1,499 per year upward on custom terms. Monthly billing adds roughly 50 to 100 dollars per tier. Every plan above Individual has unlimited users, which is genuinely unusual and makes it cheap to give a whole team read access. The structural constraint is the mention quota, and it is the thing that decides whether Brand24 fits. Quotas are per project and per month. A brand with a common name, a viral incident, or a category term as a keyword can burn 40,000 mentions in a fortnight, at which point collection halts and the data for the rest of the month simply does not exist. It cannot be backfilled. Buyers should estimate real mention volume before choosing a tier, not after.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Brand24.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Talkwalker: If you need deeper historical data, image recognition and enterprise-grade coverage and can absorb a quoted contract

Brandwatch: If consumer research depth and audience segmentation matter more than published, predictable pricing

Meltwater: If PR and earned media measurement is the primary job rather than social listening

Answered, with sources
Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
Collection stops for that project until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. The mentions that occurred in the gap are not recovered later.
Only limited backfill. Projects effectively start collecting from the date you create them, so set up keywords before you need the data.
Every plan except Individual has unlimited users, which makes read-only distribution across a team cheap.
It costs roughly 50 to 100 US dollars more per month per tier. Annual saves up to 20 per cent, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee on standard plans.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Brand24, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
