Sprout Social: If you want analytics, publishing and inbox in one subscription rather than a specialist benchmarking tool

Competitive social media analytics and benchmarking with published, self-service pricing
As of 31 August 2026, Rival IQ starts at $239/month. Rival IQ benchmarks your social performance against a named set of competitors and publishes its prices, which almost nobody in social analytics does. Softwr lists it under Social Media. Rival IQ is available on Web.
Overview
Rival IQ tracks a defined set of companies across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, and reports engagement rates, posting frequency, content types, hashtags and paid activity for each of them side by side. Connecting your own accounts adds private metrics such as reach, impressions and audience demographics on top of the public data it collects for everyone else. Reports can be scheduled, exported and pushed into Looker Studio. The distinguishing choice is transparent, self-service pricing in a category that is almost entirely sales-led. Drive is 239 US dollars a month for 10 tracked companies, Engage is 349 for 20, and Engage Pro is 559 for 40, with 15 per cent off annual billing and a 14-day trial without a card. That means a marketing manager can buy a competitive benchmarking tool on a departmental card in an afternoon, where the enterprise listening platforms would take six weeks and a procurement cycle. It also means the limits are visible before you buy rather than discovered at renewal. Buyers are social media managers and agencies who need defensible benchmarking numbers for a quarterly review or a client report. The trade-off is scope: this is analytics and benchmarking, with social listening bolted on at the higher tiers as a limited number of saved searches, not a full listening platform. If you need broad web and forum monitoring with historical backfill, this is not the tool.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Rival IQ.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Rival IQ, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
