UK job management with vehicle tracking built in, acquired by Simpro Group in 2024
As of 31 August 2026, BigChange's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A British field service platform that bundles telematics and driver behaviour tracking into the same subscription as job management, so you do not buy a separate fleet product. Softwr lists it under Field Service. BigChange is made by BigChange (Simpro Group), available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
BigChange is a job management system for UK field service businesses combining CRM, quoting, scheduling, mobile worker apps, invoicing and vehicle tracking in one subscription. The vehicle tracking is not a partner integration: BigChange ships its own telematics and the scheduling engine uses live vehicle position and driver behaviour data, which is unusual in this category and is the reason most of its customers chose it. The commercially decisive fact is the ownership change. Great Hill Partners sold BigChange to Simpro Group in October 2024, putting it alongside Simpro, AroFlo and ClockShark. Simpro is a K1 Investment Management portfolio company assembling a field service roll-up, and BigChange is its UK and European entry point. For a buyer this cuts both ways: more capital behind the product, but a roadmap now set against three sibling products rather than against the market, and a normal roll-up risk that overlapping modules get rationalised over a multi-year horizon. Buyers are UK contractors and maintenance firms with vans, typically in facilities management, plant hire, HVAC, security systems and waste, somewhere between fifteen and several hundred mobile workers. The trade-off is that the telematics bundle is only good value if you actually need it; a business whose engineers travel by public transport or already has a fleet contract is paying for hardware and a data feed it will not use. No pricing is published.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about BigChange.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

No. Telematics hardware and data are part of the BigChange subscription, which is the main reason it is chosen over job management tools that integrate a third-party tracker.
No. Pricing is quoted after a demo and depends on user numbers, vehicle numbers and contract length.
It is sold mainly in the UK and Ireland with some European deployment. Accounting integrations and compliance content assume UK practice.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for BigChange, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
