Jobber

Jobber: If you are a small contractor who wants transparent plan pricing and a system that works out of the box without configuration.

Field service management with an API-first architecture and heavy integration surface
As of 31 August 2026, Zuper's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A field service platform that sells itself on replacing a stack of five or six tools rather than on being cheapest. Softwr lists it under Field Service. Zuper is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Zuper is a field service management platform covering work orders, scheduling and dispatch, technician mobile, estimates and invoicing, inventory, job costing and customer communications, with a set of AI additions branded Zuper Sense, Zuper Connect and Zuper Glass. It serves the usual home and commercial services verticals: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, solar, landscaping, pool service and similar. The distinguishing pitch is architectural. Zuper is built API-first with a large integration catalogue and is unusually willing to sit behind an existing CRM or ERP rather than insisting on being the system of record. Where ServiceTitan and FieldEdge want to own the customer and the accounting, Zuper is frequently deployed as the field execution layer under Salesforce, HubSpot or NetSuite, and it is one of the few field service products with a genuine presence in the Zendesk and Freshdesk ecosystems. That makes it a plausible choice for a service business whose customer data legitimately lives somewhere else, and a poor choice for a small contractor who wanted one box to buy. Buyers are mid-market service operations, often ones with an existing enterprise stack or a franchise or multi-location structure, and it has notable traction with utilities and solar installers. The trade-off is cost and opacity: nothing is published, and third-party reports place it in the 50 to 150 US dollars per user per month range, several times a Jobber seat, with configuration effort to match.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Zuper.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Jobber: If you are a small contractor who wants transparent plan pricing and a system that works out of the box without configuration.

ServiceTitan: If you want the deepest residential service functionality, pricebooks and marketing attribution and can absorb the implementation.

Housecall Pro: If consumer booking, payments and marketing matter more than integrating with an existing enterprise CRM.

It is not published. Independent reports put it roughly between 50 and 150 US dollars per user per month depending on tier and volume, usually on an annual commitment.
Yes, that is one of its main positions. It integrates as a field execution layer rather than requiring you to move the customer record.
The technician mobile app is built to capture work offline and sync when connectivity returns.
Usually not on cost. At the reported per-seat rates, Jobber or Housecall Pro deliver the same day-to-day job flow far cheaper.
