Jobber: If you want plan-tier pricing with client self-service booking and a stronger North American payments and marketing story.

Job management for one to twenty person trade businesses
As of 31 August 2026, Tradify starts at $47/month. A New Zealand job management app aimed squarely at electricians, plumbers and builders running under twenty staff. Softwr lists it under Field Service. Tradify is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Tradify is job management software for small trade contractors: enquiry, quote, schedule, timesheet, job notes, invoice and payment. It was built in Auckland for the New Zealand and Australian trades market and expanded into the UK and Ireland, which is now one of its largest territories. The product is deliberately narrow. It does not attempt dispatch optimisation, inventory depth or service agreement management, and it leans on Xero or QuickBooks for the accounting rather than doing its own ledger. What distinguishes it commercially is the deliberate ceiling. Tradify targets businesses of roughly one to twenty users and prices flat per user with no tiering by volume, so a five person firm pays five times the headline and a forty person firm pays forty times it. Against ServiceTitan or FieldEdge, which quote privately and charge implementation fees in the thousands, Tradify publishes its rates, has no setup fee and can be live in a day. Against Jobber and Housecall Pro it is closer in shape but priced per user rather than by plan tier, which changes the arithmetic sharply once you pass about five seats. Buyers are owner-operators and small trade firms in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Ireland, usually already on Xero. The trade-off is the headline price is not the bill. SMS messaging is charged per message, the Instant Website add-on is extra, and card payments carry Stripe fees on top. A Pro user on the website add-on sending a couple of hundred texts a month can pay close to double the advertised per-user figure.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Tradify.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Jobber: If you want plan-tier pricing with client self-service booking and a stronger North American payments and marketing story.

Housecall Pro: If you run a residential service business and want consumer booking, marketing automation and payments bundled rather than per-user seats.

ServiceTitan: If you have outgrown twenty users and need dispatch optimisation, service agreements and flat-rate pricebooks, accepting quote-only pricing and a real implementation project.

Around 47 US dollars per user per month on Lite, 51 on Pro and 61 on Plus, or roughly 34, 37 and 44 pounds in the UK. Multiply by every user, then add SMS and any add-ons.
No. It syncs invoices and contacts to Xero, QuickBooks Online or MYOB, and you still need one of them.
No. Unlike the enterprise field service platforms there is no onboarding charge, and most firms configure it themselves.
It is designed for roughly one to twenty users. Beyond that the flat per-user pricing and the lack of dispatch optimisation and service agreements start to hurt.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Tradify, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
