As of 1 September 2026, Tractian starts at $60/month. One of the very few industrial maintenance vendors that publishes a rate card: 60 dollars per user per month for the CMMS, minimum five users, billed annually. Softwr lists it under Field Service. Tractian is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
What Tractian does
Tractian sells two things that are usually bought from different vendors. The CMMS handles work orders, preventive maintenance plans, asset registers, parts inventory and technician mobile execution. The hardware side is Smart Trac, a wireless vibration and temperature sensor mounted on rotating equipment, feeding a monitoring platform that detects developing faults and raises work orders in the same system. Buying both from one supplier removes the integration between a condition monitoring alert and a maintenance action, which in split-vendor deployments is where alerts go to die. The pricing transparency is genuine and worth using. Standard is listed from 60 dollars per user per month with a five-user minimum on annual billing and includes unlimited assets and unlimited requester accounts; Enterprise is from 100 dollars per user per month with a ten-user minimum and adds single sign-on, custom entities, the Power BI connector and ERP integration. Unlimited requesters matter: the population who report faults is usually ten times the population who plan work, and vendors that charge for those accounts produce a very different total. What is explicitly excluded from both tiers is sensors, which are priced per monitored asset under a separate bundle and are not published. Buyers are mid-market manufacturers and industrial operations in Brazil, Mexico and the United States, often replacing paper or a spreadsheet rather than a competing CMMS. The trade-offs are the hardware tie and the company profile. Sensors are Tractian hardware feeding the Tractian platform, so the monitoring investment does not transfer; and this is a fast-growing venture-funded business whose enterprise features, particularly ERP integration, sit behind the higher tier and are newer than the core CMMS.

The honest half
Where it falls short
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Tractian.
- Sensors are excluded from both published CMMS tiers and are quoted per monitored asset, so the transparent rate card covers only the part of the deployment that costs least.
- Smart Trac hardware reports into the Tractian platform, so a plant that later changes analytics vendor writes off the installed sensor base.
- The five-user minimum on Standard and ten-user minimum on Enterprise put a floor under the cost that small maintenance teams cannot get below.
- ERP integration, single sign-on and the Power BI connector are Enterprise-only, so an organisation needing SAP integration pays the higher rate for every licensed user including technicians who need none of it.
- The company is young and venture-funded with rapid product expansion, so enterprise features are newer than the core CMMS and reference sites at large industrial scale are fewer than for established EAM vendors.
