The short version

  • Each has a real cost: Regiondo a per-ticket fee applies on top of the subscription, so a high-volume operator selling many low-price tickets pays disproportionately compared with one selling few expensive ones.; TrustYou pricing is not published at any tier, so a single hotel cannot compare it against cheaper reputation tools without entering a sales process.
  • They diverge on capability: Regiondo covers Booking widget, TrustYou covers Review aggregation.
  • Prices and features above were last checked on 31 August 2026.

Where each one falls short

Documented limitations, not opinions. Every one is a constraint you would hit in normal use.

Regiondo

  • A per-ticket fee applies on top of the subscription, so a high-volume operator selling many low-price tickets pays disproportionately compared with one selling few expensive ones.
  • Regiondo now shares an owner with Rezdy and Checkfront, so evaluating the three against each other is evaluating one company presenting three faces.
  • It was owned from 2019 to 2023 by the parent of Jochen Schweizer and mydays, an experience reseller, and operators who signed during that period were running their bookings through a system owned by a distribution competitor.
  • Strength is concentrated in German-speaking Europe; OTA depth, language coverage and support quality drop noticeably for operators in other regions.
  • The product is deliberately simple, and operations with complex shared-resource constraints across many products find the scheduling model too coarse.

TrustYou

  • Pricing is not published at any tier, so a single hotel cannot compare it against cheaper reputation tools without entering a sales process.
  • Review syncing is not instant, and delays between a review appearing publicly and appearing in the dashboard undermine the case for using it as an operational alert system.
  • Reporting is inflexible next to a general analytics tool, and groups that want a custom cut of the data often export it rather than build the view inside TrustYou.
  • The newer customer data platform modules overlap heavily with functionality in modern property management systems and hotel CRMs, so buyers risk paying twice for guest profile unification.
  • Much of the underlying review data is now retrievable free through Google Business Profile and OTA extranets, which makes the value proposition rest entirely on analysis and workflow rather than access.

Answered from the vendors’ own pages

Regiondo: How much does Regiondo cost?

From about 59 euros a month for Grow and 99 euros for the higher tier, with a small per-ticket fee on confirmed bookings and 10 per cent off for annual payment.

TrustYou: How much does TrustYou cost?

It is quoted. Historical directory listings mention entry figures around 75 US dollars a month for a small property, but the vendor does not publish a rate card and group pricing is negotiated.

Regiondo: Who owns Regiondo?

Expedition Software Holding, backed by Vertica Capital Partners, since 2023. Before that it was owned by ProSiebenSat.1 within the Jochen Schweizer mydays group.

TrustYou: Does it respond to reviews for me?

It drafts responses and publishes them back to source channels, but a human still approves them unless you configure otherwise.

Regiondo: Does it charge commission on my own website bookings?

Not a percentage commission, but a per-ticket fee applies, so the cost scales with ticket count rather than with revenue.

TrustYou: Is the score syndication worth it?

It is one of the more defensible parts of the product, because showing verified review content on a direct booking page counters the social proof advantage OTAs hold.

Regiondo: Is it a good fit outside Germany?

It works, but the OTA connections, payment methods and support are built around German-speaking Europe first.

TrustYou: Do I need it if I use Google Business Profile?

Google gives you your own reviews free. TrustYou adds cross-source aggregation, competitor benchmarking and category-level sentiment, which is the part you are paying for.
