Duetto

Cloud revenue management for hotels, casinos and multi-property groups

As of 31 August 2026, Duetto's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. An enterprise hotel revenue management system built around open pricing, meaning every segment and channel is yielded independently rather than moved together off a single BAR rate. Softwr lists it under Travel. Duetto is made by Duetto Research Inc, available on Web.

Overview

What Duetto does

Duetto is a revenue management platform for hotels, casinos, resorts and gaming groups, headquartered in San Francisco. Its applications cover pricing and forecasting, group and business evaluation, and reporting, drawing on PMS, central reservation, competitor rate and demand data to recommend rates across segments, channels and room types. The defining idea is open pricing: rather than shifting a single best available rate up and down and applying fixed derived discounts to every other segment, Duetto yields each segment, channel and room type independently. A hotel can hold a loyalty rate flat while raising transient retail, or discount one room type without dragging the rate ladder with it. This matters most where segment mix is complicated and revenue is not only from rooms, which is why casino and resort groups are a core market: the system can price a stay against a guest worth calculation including gaming and on-property spend, not just room revenue. Buyers are upper-midscale to luxury hotels, resorts, casino operators and management companies with several properties. Pricing is not published. Expect per property annual licensing scaled by room count, an implementation fee, and a multi-year term. The trade-off is organisational: the system assumes a revenue manager who will use it. A property without a dedicated revenue function will not recover the licence cost, and a simpler rules-based tool would serve it better.

What people use it for

  • A casino resort pricing room nights against total guest worth including gaming spend rather than room revenue alone
  • A four hundred room city hotel wanting to raise transient retail rates without dragging negotiated corporate rates with them
  • A management company standardising revenue strategy across twenty properties with central oversight and local override
  • A resort evaluating a large group enquiry against the transient demand it would displace on the same dates

The honest half

Where it falls short

Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Duetto.

  • Nothing is published on price, and deals are typically annual per property licences on multi-year terms, so the real commitment is only visible after several sales meetings.
  • Implementation is a project involving data cleansing, PMS integration and configuration, and properties routinely take months to reach useful output, during which the licence is already being paid.
  • The system requires a trained revenue manager to interpret and act on recommendations; a hotel without that function will not get value and would be better served by a rules-based tool.
  • Value depends on clean historical and segmentation data from the PMS, and properties with inconsistent rate coding or short history get weaker forecasts with no easy remedy.
  • It is priced and scoped for upper-midscale and above, so independent hotels under about a hundred rooms are typically outside the economic range regardless of how sophisticated their pricing needs are.

Answered, with sources

Questions people ask

Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

How much does Duetto cost?

Not published. Expect a per property annual licence scaled by room count, plus implementation, on a multi-year contract.

What is open pricing?

Yielding each segment, channel and room type independently rather than moving one best available rate and deriving everything else from it.

Is it worth it for a small independent hotel?

Usually not. Below roughly a hundred rooms, and without a dedicated revenue manager, a simpler rules-based pricing tool is a better fit.

How long does implementation take?

Months rather than weeks, driven mostly by PMS data quality and rate code cleanup.
