Rezdy

Booking and reseller distribution platform for tour, activity and attraction operators

As of 31 August 2026, Rezdy starts at $49/month. An Australian booking system for tours and activities whose real asset is a business-to-business marketplace connecting operators to resellers. Softwr lists it under Travel. Rezdy is made by Rezdy (Expedition Software Holding), available on Web, iOS, Android.

Overview

What Rezdy does

Rezdy sells online booking, resource and capacity management, and reseller distribution to tour, activity and attraction operators. Operators build products with sessions, capacity and pricing rules, embed a booking widget on their own site, take payments, and manage manifests and guides. Alongside that sits the Rezdy Marketplace, a business-to-business channel where operators expose live availability to travel agents, hotel concierges, resellers and online travel agencies under agreed commission terms. The distinguishing thing is that distribution channel rather than the booking form. Rezdy built its position on connecting small operators to resellers who could not otherwise contract with them individually, and for an operator in a destination with heavy agent and concierge traffic that access is worth more than the software. The pricing follows: subscriptions are published at 49, 99 and 249 US dollars a month, and each carries a booking fee, roughly 2, 1.9 and 1.75 per cent respectively, applied to bookings taken through the platform. The fact that should change a shortlist is ownership. In June 2023 Rezdy was rolled up with Checkfront and Regiondo under Expedition Software Holding, backed by Vertica Capital Partners. Operators comparing those three as independent alternatives are comparing products with one owner, one investment thesis and, over time, one likely platform direction. That is a reasonable risk to take with eyes open and a poor one to discover after signing.

What people use it for

  • A day-tour operator in a destination where hotel concierges and agents drive a large share of bookings
  • An attraction managing session capacity across guides and vehicles rather than simple ticket counts
  • An operator wanting reseller contracts managed centrally instead of by email and spreadsheet
  • A multi-product experience business selling packages and gift cards alongside standard tickets

The honest half

Where it falls short

Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Rezdy.

  • Rezdy, Checkfront and Regiondo have shared an owner since 2023, so an operator running a three-way comparison is choosing between products from one company with one roadmap.
  • Every tier carries a percentage booking fee on top of the subscription, so the cheapest plan is the most expensive per booking and the true cost rises with success rather than staying fixed.
  • The marketplace is the main reason to be there, and its reseller depth varies sharply by destination; in a market with few connected agents you are paying a distribution premium for nothing.
  • Setting up complex products with shared resources across sessions is fiddly, and operators regularly need vendor assistance rather than configuring it unaided.
  • Payment processing is layered on top of the booking fee, so the effective take on each reservation is materially higher than the advertised percentage suggests.

Questions people ask

Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

Who owns Rezdy?

Expedition Software Holding, backed by Vertica Capital Partners, which also owns Checkfront and Regiondo following a 2023 rollup.

Does Rezdy charge on direct website bookings?

Yes. The booking fee applies to bookings processed through the platform, including those from your own site, on top of card processing.

What is the marketplace worth?

It depends entirely on your destination. Where agent and concierge traffic is significant it is the main reason to buy Rezdy; where it is not, the value collapses.

How much does it really cost per booking?

Add the tier booking fee, roughly 1.75 to 2 per cent, to your card processing rate, then add the monthly subscription spread across your volume.
