Sabre AirCentre: If your agency content agreement is with Sabre rather than Amadeus

Browser based agent booking desktop on the Amadeus GDS
As of 1 September 2026, Amadeus Selling Platform Connect's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. The graphical front end travel agents use to sell air, hotel, rail and car content from the Amadeus global distribution system. Softwr lists it under Travel. Amadeus Selling Platform Connect is made by Amadeus IT Group, available on Web.
Overview
Amadeus Selling Platform Connect is a browser based booking and servicing desktop for travel agents. It sits on top of the Amadeus GDS and exposes the same PNR, pricing, ticketing and queue functions as the cryptic command line, with graphical panels for availability, fares, seat maps, ancillaries and hotel and car content. Agents can switch between graphical mode and raw cryptic entries in the same session, which is why experienced consultants keep it open all day. What distinguishes it commercially is that it is rarely priced as software. Agencies sign a GDS content and productivity agreement with Amadeus that pays the agency an incentive per booked and ticketed segment, and the desktop comes with that relationship. The consequence is that the thing a buyer negotiates is the segment incentive rate, the minimum annual segment volume and the clawback if the agency shifts bookings to a rival GDS or to direct NDC connections, not a per seat price. Agencies that miss volume commitments can end up repaying incentives. It is bought by traditional travel management companies, leisure agencies, consolidators and airline city ticket offices. The trade off is dependence: the desktop, the content, the incentive income and the ticketing authority all come from one supplier, and moving to Sabre or Travelport means retraining consultants and renegotiating everything at once. Corporates wanting self booking buy a tool such as Cytric or a TMC platform instead; Selling Platform Connect is an agent tool.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Amadeus Selling Platform Connect.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Practically no. It is sold to accredited travel agencies and airline ticket offices as part of an Amadeus GDS agreement. Corporates buy a self booking tool such as Cytric or a TMC service instead.
Not usually. The commercial model is segment incentives paid to the agency against volume commitments, so the negotiation is about incentive rates and minimum segments, not seat price.
Yes, airline NDC offers are retrieved through Amadeus Travel API and shown alongside EDIFACT content, but servicing rules for NDC orders differ and not every airline exposes the same change and refund functions.
