Trumpet

Digital sales rooms with mutual action plans, e-signature and a free tier that is genuinely usable

As of 31 August 2026, Trumpet has a free plan and paid plans start at $45/month. A UK-built digital sales room where each deal gets a shared microsite, called a pod, holding proposals, videos, mutual action plans and signatures. Softwr lists it under Sales Enablement. Trumpet is available on Web, Browser extension.

Overview

What Trumpet does

Trumpet replaces the scattered attachments of a B2B deal with a single shared space per buyer. A pod holds the proposal, pricing, recorded demos, security documentation, a mutual action plan with owners and dates, and increasingly the signature step too, so the buyer never leaves the room to close. Sellers see engagement analytics: who opened what, how long they watched, which stakeholder appeared that the seller had never met. The commercial distinction is the entry point. The free tier permits ten pods per account with unlimited users, mutual action plans, version control and forty-plus integrations, which is enough for a small team to run real deals rather than a trial. Paid tiers are Pro at 45 US dollars per user per month for up to five users, Scale at 100 and Elite at 160, both with unlimited users, on monthly or annual billing. E-signature, proposals and quotes only arrive on Scale, and the AI suite, single sign-on, SCIM, white-labelling and custom domains only on Elite, which is a steep jump from 45 to 160 for capabilities competitors include lower down. Buyers are B2B sales and customer success teams, disproportionately European, who want a buyer-facing surface without a full enablement platform. Trumpet is a UK company, which matters for data residency conversations and for procurement teams that prefer a supplier under UK and EU contract law rather than a US vendor with standard contractual clauses attached.

What people use it for

  • A sales team whose proposals currently go out as PDF attachments and who have no idea whether anyone beyond their contact ever opened them
  • A complex enterprise deal with six stakeholders where a shared mutual action plan is the only way to keep both sides honest about dates
  • A customer success team running structured onboarding that wants the plan, recordings and documents in one link the customer keeps returning to
  • A European buyer that needs a supplier under UK or EU jurisdiction rather than a US vendor for data protection reasons

The honest half

Where it falls short

Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Trumpet.

  • E-signature, proposals and quotes are held back to the Scale tier at 100 US dollars per user per month, so a team on Pro still needs a separate signing tool and pays twice for one workflow.
  • Single sign-on and SCIM only appear on Elite at 160 per user per month, which puts basic enterprise identity controls behind the most expensive tier rather than treating them as security baseline.
  • Pro is capped at five users, so a sixth hire forces a jump from 45 to 100 per user per month, more than doubling the per-seat cost for a headcount reason.
  • A digital sales room only works if buyers actually use the link, and in industries where procurement insists on email attachments and its own portals, the engagement analytics that justify the spend never materialise.
  • It competes against enablement platforms that bundle rooms into a wider content and coaching suite, so organisations already paying for one of those are buying an overlapping capability rather than a missing one.

Answered, with sources

Questions people ask

Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

Is the free plan genuinely usable?

Yes. Ten pods per account with unlimited users, mutual action plans and integrations is enough to run real deals, not just a trial.

When do I need to pay?

At the eleventh pod, or when you need e-signature and proposals, which start at Scale on 100 US dollars per user per month.

Where is the company based?

London, United Kingdom, which matters for procurement teams that prefer a UK or EU contracting entity.

Does it replace PandaDoc or DocuSign?

From Scale upward it can, since signing happens inside the pod, though it also integrates with both if you want to keep them.
