Tulip: If you want to build your own operator applications rather than adopt a fixed data model

Mobile manufacturing execution for small plants, acquired by Autodesk and folded into Fusion Operations
As of 31 August 2026, Prodsmart's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. Prodsmart put shop floor tracking on phones and tablets so small manufacturers could get production data without touching a machine controller. Softwr lists it under Manufacturing. Prodsmart is made by Autodesk, Inc., available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Prodsmart is a manufacturing execution system founded in Lisbon and designed for small and mid size manufacturers that have no plant network, no historian and no automation budget. Operators run it on phones or tablets, scanning barcodes to declare production, scrap and downtime against work orders, and the system builds live production status, traceability and simple OEE from those declarations. The distinguishing decision is deliberately low technology. It does not require PLC connectivity, OPC servers, MTConnect or any controller integration, which means it works identically on a machine bought last year and one bought in 1994. For a small manufacturer that is often the difference between having production data and not having it, because every alternative starts with a conversation about connecting equipment that cannot be connected without a retrofit costing more than the software. The fact that changes an evaluation is ownership. Autodesk acquired Prodsmart in 2022 and has been folding it into the Fusion product family, where it is positioned as the operations layer alongside Fusion design and manufacturing tooling. That brings a large company behind the product and tighter links to CAM, but it also means the standalone product identity, pricing and channel are now Autodesk decisions, support runs through Autodesk, and the roadmap serves a design led strategy rather than a pure MES one. Buyers should evaluate the current Autodesk packaging rather than the independent product they may have read about.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Prodsmart.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Answered, with sources
Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
Autodesk acquired it in 2022 and has integrated it into the Fusion product family as its operations offering.
No. That is the central design decision. Operators declare production on mobile devices.
It covers execution, traceability and basic OEE. Detailed scheduling, quality workflows and controller level data are not its scope.
It is sold through Autodesk. Confirm the current packaging and pricing with Autodesk rather than relying on pre acquisition material.
