MailerLite: If you want a genuinely free tier for a small list with a similar feature-per-price position

Low-cost email marketing from 9 US dollars a month, owned by Sitecore since 2021
As of 31 August 2026, Moosend's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A Greek-built email marketing platform that includes every feature at every contact tier, so the price scales only with list size. Softwr lists it under Email Marketing. Moosend is made by Moosend (Sitecore), available on Web, API.
Overview
Moosend is an email marketing and automation platform covering campaigns, a drag-and-drop email builder, automation workflows, landing pages, subscription forms, segmentation and an SMTP relay. Its structural distinction is simple and genuinely useful: the Pro plan includes every Pro feature at every contact tier, so a business with 500 contacts gets the same automation, landing pages, forms and SMTP access as one with 200,000. Most competitors gate automation and reporting behind higher tiers, which is what makes their cheap plans misleading. Pricing starts at 9 US dollars a month for 500 contacts on monthly billing, dropping to about 7.65 with the 20 per cent annual discount, with a 15 per cent biannual option in between. There is also a credit model for irregular senders: 350,000 credits for 350 dollars up to a million for 1,000 dollars, which suits a business that sends heavily a few times a year rather than continuously. There is no free forever plan; the trial is 30 days with unlimited sends to 1,000 contacts. The fact that should shape a shortlist is ownership. Sitecore acquired Moosend in 2021 to add email to its digital experience suite, so Moosend is now a low-priced product inside an enterprise vendor whose commercial focus is elsewhere. That has kept the price attractive and the product stable, but it also means Moosend is not the strategic centre of anyone business, and buyers should weigh how much roadmap ambition they expect from it. Typical buyers are small ecommerce stores, bloggers, agencies and price-sensitive SMEs.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Moosend.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

No. It has a 30-day trial with unlimited sends to 1,000 contacts, then you must move to a paid plan or buy credits.
No, and this is the main reason to choose it. Every Pro feature is available at every contact tier; only list size changes the price.
Sitecore, which acquired it in 2021. The product remains sold under the Moosend name at its own pricing.
Irregular senders. 350 US dollars buys 350,000 credits with no monthly subscription, which is cheaper than a year of subscription for a business that sends in bursts.
