Five9: If you want a cloud contact centre with a mature dialler and a large North American partner network, accepting cloud-only deployment.

Omnichannel contact centre software available on-premise, cloud or hybrid
As of 31 August 2026, Ameyo's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. An Indian contact centre platform, now branded Ameyo by Exotel after the 2021 acquisition but still sold and developed under its own name. Softwr lists it under Customer Support. Ameyo is made by Ameyo, part of Exotel, available on Web, On-premise, Private cloud, iOS.
Overview
Ameyo is contact centre software covering inbound and outbound voice, predictive and progressive dialling, omnichannel routing across email, chat, WhatsApp and social, an omnichannel helpdesk, quality monitoring and supervisor analytics. A newer line, Ameyo XTRM by Exotel, adds a conversational AI layer. It was founded in Gurugram as Drishti-Soft and acquired by Exotel, the Bengaluru cloud communications company, in 2021. The capability that keeps it on shortlists is deployment choice. Almost every contact centre platform worth naming is now cloud-only, and Ameyo still ships on-premise, private cloud and hybrid alongside public cloud. For Indian banks, insurers and government-adjacent organisations operating under RBI data localisation requirements or internal rules that forbid customer voice recordings leaving their own infrastructure, that is not a preference but a procurement condition, and it removes most of the international competition from the tender. The acquisition has changed the branding, and everything now carries the by Exotel suffix, but the product retains its own name, site and roadmap rather than becoming an Exotel feature. Buyers are large Indian and Southeast Asian contact centres, banks, non-banking financial companies, telecoms, BPOs and collections operations, plus a presence in the Middle East and Africa. The trade-off is that nothing is published: pricing is entirely quote-driven, on-premise deployments carry infrastructure and professional services costs on top, and the product is engineered for high-volume outbound dialling in markets where labour is inexpensive and agent counts are large.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Ameyo.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Yes. It is branded Ameyo by Exotel and keeps its own website, product line and roadmap. It has not been folded into the Exotel product.
Yes, and it is one of the few remaining contact centre platforms offering a genuine on-premise install alongside cloud and hybrid.
It is quote-only. Nothing is published for cloud or on-premise, and on-premise adds infrastructure and professional services on top of licensing.
Primarily India and Southeast Asia, with customers in the Middle East and Africa. It is not a mainstream choice in Europe or North America.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Ameyo, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish.
