Planning Center: Modular church software with fully published per-module pricing

A church software holding company whose current product is the Amplify module suite
As of 1 September 2026, Ministry Brands's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. Ministry Brands acquired dozens of church software companies. Softwr lists it under Religion. Ministry Brands is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Ministry Brands is a private equity backed roll-up of church and faith-based nonprofit software. Over a decade it acquired Shelby Systems, Elexio, easyTithe, Fellowship One, Kindrid, ShareFaith, WeShare, Church Motion Graphics and a background screening business, among others. Since 2023 the go-forward product has been Amplify: a modular suite covering people management, giving, mobile app, websites, streaming, service planning, fund accounting, communications, media, background screening and an AI sermon preparation module confusingly also called Equip. The fact a buyer needs is that the legacy brands and Amplify are different software. Ministry Brands sells Amplify to new customers while continuing to support the acquired products, which means a church evaluating Shelby or Fellowship One today is buying into a product line that is not the one receiving investment. Migration from a legacy brand to Amplify is a data migration project, not an upgrade, and churches on those systems should ask directly about end-of-support dates before signing another term. Buyers are churches from a few hundred to several thousand attendees who want one vendor for giving, records and web presence, and denominational bodies who want consistency across congregations. Nothing is publicly priced. Because Ministry Brands also processes the giving, the transaction rate is the number to negotiate hardest; the module subscriptions are more visible but frequently the smaller half of the bill for a church with meaningful online giving.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Ministry Brands.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

No. Everything is quoted by church size and module selection, and the giving transaction rate is negotiated separately.
They are supported but not the go-forward line. Ask for written end-of-support commitments before renewing.
No. Amplify Equip is an AI sermon preparation module. Faithlife Equip was a separate product that has been discontinued.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Ministry Brands, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
