Volt: If you want broader European and Australian pay by bank coverage from one API

Nordic and Brazilian account-to-account payments for regulated high-risk sectors
As of 1 September 2026, Zimpler's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A Swedish pay-by-bank provider with unusually deep Nordic bank coverage and a business concentrated in iGaming. Softwr lists it under APIs. Zimpler is made by Zimpler AB, available on Web, REST API.
Overview
Zimpler initiates bank transfers for deposits and payouts, wrapping open banking and local bank rails behind one API with identity verification attached. In Sweden it works with BankID, so a payment and a verified identity arrive together, which is why it became standard for Swedish gambling operators that must confirm who is depositing. It has since extended into Finland, Norway, Denmark, the wider EU and Brazil. The distinguishing capability is the combination of bank payment and strong national identity in one flow. For a regulated operator, that removes a separate know-your-customer step and shortens onboarding materially. It is also why the provider is choosy: Zimpler acts as a payment facilitator, so it carries risk on the merchants it accepts, and its pricing reflects industry, risk profile and volume rather than a rate card. Merchants outside its target sectors often find the answer is no rather than expensive. Buyers are iGaming operators, trading platforms and other regulated merchants in the Nordics and Brazil. The trade-off is concentration: coverage and quality outside its home markets is thinner than a pan-European specialist, and being a facilitator means it can offboard you on risk grounds.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Zimpler.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Sweden and the Nordics primarily, plus the wider EU and Brazil. It is strongest where national electronic identity schemes exist.
Yes. In the Nordics it captures BankID identity alongside the payment, which removes a separate verification step.
No. It is quoted per merchant based on sector, risk and volume, and merchants must pass underwriting first.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Zimpler, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
