Tink: If you need broader European coverage and account data enrichment at scale

Nordic open banking payments and data, now with UK coverage through Ordo
As of 1 September 2026, Neonomics's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A Norwegian open banking provider with unusually deep Nordic bank connectivity, which acquired UK payments firm Ordo to add FCA authorised UK coverage and variable recurring payments. Softwr lists it under APIs. Neonomics is made by Neonomics (Fintech Innovation AS), available on Web, API.
Overview
Neonomics offers payment initiation and account information across European banks with a concentration in the Nordics, where its coverage and understanding of local bank behaviour is better than most pan European providers. It sells to merchants, debt collection firms, accounting software and financial institutions wanting to collect payments directly from bank accounts. The development that changes its position is the acquisition of Ordo, the FCA authorised UK open banking payments firm founded by former Faster Payments management, approved by both the FCA and the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority. That brought UK authorisation, request to pay experience and variable recurring payments capability into a business that had been Nordic first. For a buyer, it means Neonomics is now a credible option for a UK plus Nordics footprint, which is a combination most rivals cover unevenly. Buyers are Nordic merchants, debt collection agencies such as those Neonomics publicly works with, and software vendors embedding pay by bank. The realistic constraints: it is a smaller company than Tink or TrueLayer, so long term supplier viability deserves scrutiny; coverage outside the Nordics and UK is comparatively shallow; and as with all payment initiation providers, it initiates rather than settles, so merchants still need reconciliation and refund processes of their own.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Neonomics.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.
