Marqeta: If you need US issuing or just-in-time funding at scale

European issuer processor holding its own payment institution licence
As of 1 September 2026, Enfuce's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A Finnish issuer processor for European card programmes that can act as the licensed issuer as well as the processor. Softwr lists it under APIs. Enfuce is made by Enfuce Financial Services Oy, available on Web, REST API.
Overview
Enfuce runs card issuing and processing for European programmes, covering physical, virtual and tokenised cards on Visa and Mastercard, with authorisation controls, settlement, dispute handling and scheme reporting. It operates on cloud infrastructure and supports multi-country, multi-currency programmes from a single integration. What distinguishes it commercially is regulatory footing. Enfuce holds Finnish payment institution authorisation and can act as the licensed issuer of the card as well as its processor, meaning a fintech can launch without separately negotiating BIN sponsorship. For a European programme, that is often the difference between a launch measured in months and one measured in quarters, because sponsor bank due diligence is usually the long pole. Firms that already hold their own e-money or payment licence can instead use Enfuce purely as processor. Buyers are European fintechs, banks and corporates issuing cards under EU rules, including fuel, expense and sustainability-linked programmes. The trade-off is scale and scope: it is a European specialist, so a programme that also needs US issuing will require a second supplier and a second integration.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Enfuce.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Not necessarily. Enfuce holds Finnish payment institution authorisation and can act as issuer, or process under your own licence if you have one.
Europe. It is not a route to issuing cards in the United States or Asia.
Who holds the issuing licence determines who receives interchange, so the licensing choice and the revenue model are the same decision.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Enfuce, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
