Token.io: If bank coverage breadth and variable recurring payments matter more than instant settlement

Instant account to account payments and payouts across Europe
As of 1 September 2026, Brite Payments's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A Stockholm provider running instant pay ins and payouts on its own settlement network rather than only initiating bank transfers. Softwr lists it under APIs. Brite Payments is made by Brite AB, available on Web, API.
Overview
Brite Payments handles account to account payments in both directions: consumers pay from their bank account, and merchants pay out to consumer accounts, across a network of European banks. Its distinguishing element is the Brite Instant Payments Network, a proprietary settlement layer that lets the merchant treat a payment as final within seconds instead of waiting for the underlying bank transfer to clear. That matters commercially in verticals where payout speed is the product. In iGaming, trading and marketplaces, a withdrawal that takes two days loses customers, and the ability to push money to a bank account instantly is worth paying a per transaction fee for. Brite is authorised in Sweden and passports across the European Economic Area, and it raised sixty million dollars led by Dawn Capital in 2024 to expand coverage. Buyers are gambling operators, trading platforms, marketplaces and retailers in the Nordics, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Poland and Spain. The trade offs a buyer should press on: coverage differs sharply by country and Brite is strongest where instant payment schemes are mature; there is no chargeback framework, so refunds and disputes are the merchant's process to build; and because Brite fronts settlement it will underwrite the merchant, which means volume limits, reserves or delayed settlement for higher risk sectors, exactly the sectors most attracted to the product.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Brite Payments.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

It settles on its own network, so the merchant sees funds as final in seconds rather than waiting for the bank transfer to clear.
In markets with mature instant payment schemes, yes. Elsewhere the speed depends on local rails, so check country by country.
There is no chargeback framework on account to account payments. Refunds and disputes are entirely your own process.
