Cliniko: A closer match if you want a longer established Australian allied health system with a broader integration catalogue

Practice management and clinical notes for allied health clinics, formerly Power Diary
As of 31 August 2026, Zanda Health starts at $19/month. An Australian practice management system for physiotherapy, psychology, podiatry and similar allied health disciplines. Softwr lists it under Healthcare. Zanda Health is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Zanda Health handles calendars, client records, clinical notes, invoicing, online booking, SMS reminders and practitioner rostering for small and mid sized allied health practices. It was built in Australia and sells hardest into Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, with Medicare, DVA and Australian health fund workflows built in rather than bolted on. The distinguishing commercial fact is the pricing shape. The Growth plan charges a base fee plus a per practitioner fee, and administrative users are unlimited and free. A clinic with three physiotherapists and four receptionists pays for three people, not seven. Most competitors in this segment count every login as a seat, so the gap widens with every non clinical staff member you employ. It is bought by owner operated clinics of one to about twenty practitioners who want Australian billing to work without configuration. The trade off is regional depth. Outside Australia and the UK the billing integrations thin out considerably, and North American buyers will find no clearinghouse, limited superbill handling and a support team working Australian hours.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Zanda Health.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Yes. Power Diary rebranded to Zanda Health in 2024. Same company, same product line, same data.
No. On the Growth plan administrative users are unlimited and free. Only practitioners are charged.
Yes, Medicare Online, DVA and bulk billing claims are submitted from within the platform for Australian practices.
Only partly. Charting, scheduling and telehealth work, but there is no claims clearinghouse, so US insurance billing needs a separate system.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Zanda Health, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
