CentralSquare Asset Management is enterprise asset management for local government: streets and pavement, water and sewer networks, stormwater, parks, fleet, facilities and signs. It handles asset inventories, condition assessment, work orders, inspections, service requests from citizens, preventive maintenance and capital planning, with tight Esri ArcGIS integration because public works assets are inherently spatial. It was sold as Lucity, and before that GBA Master Series, and remains widely deployed under the Lucity name in the field. The fact a buyer should weigh is ownership. CentralSquare acquired Lucity in 2019 and folded it into a broad public sector portfolio spanning public safety dispatch, records, finance, ERP and community development. CentralSquare is private-equity owned, has grown by acquisition, and now sells asset management as one module of a suite whose commercial logic is cross-selling into the same city hall.
