Bar inventory and pour cost control using Bluetooth scales and POS depletion data
As of 31 August 2026, WISK's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A beverage inventory app that weighs open bottles rather than estimating them, then compares real usage against what the POS says was sold. Softwr lists it under Restaurants. WISK is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
WISK is inventory software for bars and restaurants, focused on beverage. Staff count stock on a phone or tablet, weighing partial bottles on a Bluetooth scale so open inventory is measured rather than guessed. The platform pulls sales from the point of sale, calculates theoretical depletion from recipes, and reports the variance between what should have been used and what actually was. What sets it apart is that the whole workflow is designed around the count being fast enough to repeat weekly. Bottles are identified by barcode or image, the scale reading converts directly to remaining volume, and a bar of a few hundred SKUs is countable by two people in under an hour. That matters commercially because variance reporting is only useful at a cadence short enough to identify who was working when the stock disappeared, and monthly counts never achieve that. Buyers are independent bars, restaurant groups with significant beverage revenue, and hotel outlets. The trade off is that food inventory is the weaker half of the product, and the value depends entirely on operational discipline that the software cannot supply. Groups that want one system covering food purchasing, plate costing and accounts payable usually end up buying a broader back office platform alongside it.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about WISK.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Answered, with sources
Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
Not strictly, but without it partial bottles are estimated and the variance figures lose most of their precision, which is the reason to buy the product.
A bar of a few hundred SKUs is typically countable by two people in under an hour once the catalogue is set up.
It does, but the depth is in beverage. Kitchen heavy operations usually pair it with, or replace it by, a broader food costing platform.
It exports invoice and cost data to QuickBooks and Xero rather than acting as the ledger itself.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for WISK, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
