ChowNow: If you want a flat subscription rather than a percentage of every direct order

Branded ordering websites, apps and self service kiosks for takeaways and restaurant groups in Europe
As of 31 August 2026, Flipdish's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. Direct ordering software from Ireland, strongest with takeaways in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Softwr lists it under Restaurants. Flipdish is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Flipdish builds branded ordering websites and mobile apps, self service kiosks, and the supporting marketing and customer data tools for takeaways, restaurant groups and franchises. Orders flow into a tablet, a printer or an integrated point of sale, and the same platform handles loyalty, vouchers and campaigns to the customer list a venue builds through it. The fact that changes the evaluation is the revenue model. Flipdish is positioned against Just Eat and Deliveroo on commission, but it typically charges a percentage of order value on its own channels rather than a flat subscription. That is far below marketplace rates and it is still a variable cost that scales with your success, so the comparison a buyer needs is Flipdish percentage against a flat fee competitor at their actual monthly order volume, not against the marketplace rate. Buyers are single site takeaways through to multi country franchise groups, concentrated in Ireland, the United Kingdom and continental Europe. The trade off is scale and focus. The company reached a one billion dollar plus valuation in 2021 and then cut headcount substantially during the following downturn, narrowing its geographic and product ambitions; buyers outside its core European markets get thinner integration coverage and support.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Flipdish.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Flipdish, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
