Oracle MICROS Simphony: If you need hotel property integration and an established Western enterprise support structure

Enterprise cloud restaurant platform for chains across India, the Middle East and South East Asia
As of 31 August 2026, Restroworks's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. The platform formerly sold as Posist, rebranded in 2023, covering POS, inventory and central kitchen operations for large chains. Softwr lists it under Restaurants. Restroworks is available on Web, Android, iOS, Windows.
Overview
Restroworks is a cloud restaurant management platform combining point of sale, inventory and supply chain, central kitchen production, customer engagement and analytics. It is used by large chains and franchise groups operating across India, the Gulf, South East Asia and, more recently, parts of North America and Europe. What distinguishes it commercially is the price to capability ratio. It offers estate level menu control, central kitchen and commissary workflows, and franchise reporting of the sort normally associated with enterprise Western vendors, at pricing set by the Indian market. For a chain of two hundred outlets that difference is not marginal, and it is why groups with operations in both regions increasingly run Restroworks in Asia and the Gulf rather than extending an expensive incumbent. Buyers are multi outlet chains, cloud kitchen operators and franchise groups. The trade off is ecosystem and time zone. The rebrand from Posist means older reviews, documentation and integration references sit under the previous name, the third party integration catalogue is oriented to Indian and Gulf services such as Swiggy and Zomato rather than Western ones, and support is strongest during Indian business hours.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Restroworks.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Yes. Posist rebranded to Restroworks in 2023; it is the same platform and company.
Yes, it has customers in the Gulf, South East Asia and beyond, though its integration ecosystem and support hours are strongest in India.
Yes. Commissary production, indenting and inter outlet transfers are core rather than an add on.
Substantially lower for comparable chain functionality, which is the main reason multi region groups adopt it in Asia and the Gulf.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Restroworks, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
