Unified clinical trial data collection and randomisation on one Oracle Life Sciences platform
As of 31 August 2026, Oracle Clinical One's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. Oracle Life Sciences clinical trial platform, replacing the older Oracle Clinical and InForm products, that puts data collection and randomisation with trial supply management on one database. Softwr lists it under Healthcare. Oracle Clinical One is made by Oracle, available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Oracle Clinical One is Oracle Life Sciences cloud platform for running clinical trials. Its two core services are Clinical One Data Collection, which captures data from case report forms, wearables, patient apps, electronic health records and central labs into one harmonised store, and Clinical One Randomization and Supplies Management, which handles randomisation strategy and investigational product distribution without requiring custom programming. Because both sit on a single platform, a site can randomise a subject, dispense drug and record data in one system rather than reconciling between an EDC and a separate interactive response technology vendor. The unification is the argument and also the commitment. Sponsors have traditionally run EDC and randomisation from different suppliers, which produces integration work, reconciliation effort and a familiar class of mid-study errors. Clinical One removes that boundary. In exchange you are placing the two most schedule-critical systems in a trial with the same vendor, so a defect or an outage touches both, and any mid-study amendment, which in this market is normal rather than exceptional, moves through one change control process that you do not own. Buyers are pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors and the CROs working for them, generally organisations already inside Oracle Life Sciences from the Oracle Clinical or InForm era. Nothing is published: pricing, implementation timelines and validation packages all come through an enterprise sales process, and the honest budget line is licence plus implementation plus study build plus ongoing change orders, with the last of those usually the surprise.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Oracle Clinical One.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Clinical One is the current Oracle Life Sciences platform, and sponsors on the older Oracle Clinical and InForm products are the primary migration audience.
Yes. Clinical One Randomization and Supplies Management can integrate with a third-party EDC if you want to keep an incumbent capture system.
No. Every element, including licence, study build, implementation and validation, comes through Oracle sales.
It is delivered as a validated cloud service with GxP documentation and Part 11 aligned audit trails, but sponsor-level validation of your own configuration remains your responsibility.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Oracle Clinical One, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
