Overview
InsurancePro is an agency management system aimed at small and mid-sized independent insurance agencies in the United States. It stores client and policy records, tracks commissions, generates ACORD forms, produces certificates of insurance, handles renewal and follow-up task lists, and reconciles carrier payment transactions. It runs as a hosted web application and there is a mobile companion for looking up client records away from the office. What distinguishes it commercially is that it was built by Insurance Technologies Corporation alongside TurboRater, the comparative rater that many personal lines agencies already run every day. Quotes originating in TurboRater drop into InsurancePro without rekeying, which removes the single largest source of duplicate entry in a personal lines agency. That integration is the reason agencies choose it over larger systems that carry more features but no rating engine of their own. ITC was acquired by Zywave, and InsurancePro is now sold as part of the Zywave agency portfolio. Buyers should read that as a roadmap fact rather than a name change: development priority now sits inside a much larger company whose centre of gravity is employee benefits and commercial lines content, not small personal lines agency administration. The typical buyer is a two to fifteen person agency writing mostly auto and home, which wants something cheaper and simpler than Applied or Vertafore and is willing to accept weaker commercial lines handling in exchange.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about InsurancePro.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
Yes. It is now a Zywave product, sold on the TurboRater site as InsurancePro, but it retains its own name and its own product page.
No, but without it you lose the quote-to-management data flow that is the main commercial argument for choosing this system over a rival.
It can record commercial policies and produce commercial ACORD forms, but agencies writing substantial commercial books generally find the workflow and reporting insufficient.
Zywave does not publish pricing. Expect a quote based on agency headcount and modules, with rating licensed separately.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for InsurancePro, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
