Cloudbeds: A single subscription that bundles PMS, channel manager and booking engine rather than charging for distribution separately

Cloud property management system priced per room for small and mid-sized independent hotels
As of 31 August 2026, Hotelogix starts at $7.99/month. A per-room cloud PMS aimed at independent hotels and small groups in emerging markets, with front desk, POS and channel distribution sold as separate line items. Softwr lists it under Travel. Hotelogix is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Hotelogix is a cloud property management system for independent hotels, small chains, hostels and serviced apartments. It covers the front desk, housekeeping, point of sale for restaurants and spas, group and corporate bookings, night audit and a set of operational reports, with a web back office and mobile apps for staff who work away from a desk. Distribution to online travel agencies runs through its own channel manager and a booking engine for the hotel website. The distinguishing thing is the pricing architecture rather than the feature set. The core PMS is quoted per room per month across three tiers, roughly eight, twelve and eighteen US dollars per room, but the channel manager and the accounting connector are separate subscriptions charged per room with their own floors, and each additional third-party interface carries its own monthly fee. That matters commercially because a twenty-room hotel comparing a headline per-room number against a flat-rate competitor is comparing the wrong figures. The realistic monthly total once distribution is switched on is meaningfully above the advertised rate, and the vendor does not publish multi-property or enterprise pricing at all. Buyers are typically independent hotels of fifteen to a hundred rooms in India, South East Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, where the company has the strongest reseller presence and local payment and tax handling. The trade-off is that Hotelogix is built for cost-conscious operators rather than for design-led or high-ADR properties: the interface shows its age, the guest-facing surfaces are plain, and hotels that want a modern guest journey or deep revenue analytics will find themselves buying that elsewhere and integrating it.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Hotelogix.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
The core PMS at the entry tier is around 240 US dollars a month at 7.99 per room, but adding the channel manager at about 1 dollar per room with a 25 dollar floor and any interface fees typically pushes the real figure past 300 dollars.
No. Distribution is a paid add-on charged per room per month on top of whichever PMS tier you are on.
No. The booking engine does not charge a per-reservation commission; you pay only the subscription and your own payment processing.
It has a multi-property dashboard, but group pricing is quoted rather than published and larger chains generally shortlist Opera or Mews instead.
