Adaptive behavioural analytics for payment fraud and financial crime
As of 1 September 2026, Featurespace ARIC Risk Hub's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A real time fraud and AML scoring engine built on adaptive behavioural analytics, now owned by Visa after the December 2024 acquisition. Softwr lists it under Cybersecurity. Featurespace ARIC Risk Hub is made by Featurespace, a Visa solution, available on Web, Linux.
Overview
ARIC Risk Hub is a real time decisioning platform that builds a statistical model of each individual customer's normal behaviour and scores events against that model rather than against population-wide rules. It is used for card fraud, authorised push payment fraud, merchant acquiring fraud and anti-money laundering, and is deployed by banks, acquirers and payment processors that need a decision inside a payment authorisation window. The distinguishing technique is adaptive behavioural analytics: models update on the customer's own history so a change in behaviour is measured against that person rather than a segment average. Commercially this matters most for scam and authorised push payment fraud, where the payment is genuinely authorised by the customer and rule-based systems have nothing anomalous to fire on. UK banks facing mandatory APP fraud reimbursement have a direct financial reason to care about that detection class. Featurespace was founded out of Cambridge University and was acquired by Visa in a deal announced in September 2024 and completed at the end of that year. Buyers are banks, acquirers and processors. The trade-off is now partly commercial rather than technical: a card scheme owns the vendor, and institutions that compete with Visa services, or that want a scheme-neutral fraud stack, will need to weigh that. Pricing is not published and is normally structured per transaction or per protected account.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Featurespace ARIC Risk Hub.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Featurespace ARIC Risk Hub, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish.
