TalentLMS

TalentLMS: Simpler and cheaper for straightforward internal training where built in interactive authoring is not required.

Learning management with interactive content authoring built in rather than bought separately
As of 31 August 2026, Tovuti LMS's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. Tovuti includes interactive content authoring inside the platform, so mid sized teams avoid a second licence for an authoring tool. Softwr lists it under LMS. Tovuti LMS is made by Tovuti, available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Tovuti is a cloud learning management system aimed at mid sized organisations, associations and training providers. It handles course delivery, enrolments, certification, virtual classrooms, ecommerce and reporting, and it includes an interactive content editor covering formats such as branching scenarios, drag and drop activities, hotspot images and quizzes, produced inside the platform rather than authored elsewhere and imported as a SCORM package. Built in authoring is the commercial argument. A typical stack is a learning management system plus a separate authoring licence per content developer, and for a team with two or three developers the authoring licences are a visible annual line. Tovuti folds that into the platform. The counter argument is equally clear. Organisations that already own a dedicated authoring suite, or whose instructional designers depend on its specific capabilities, gain nothing from the bundle and are then paying a platform premium for a tool they will not use. Decide which of those two you are before comparing prices, because it changes which quote is actually cheaper. Buyers are learning leads at companies and associations between roughly one hundred and five thousand learners, often replacing a first generation system or a set of spreadsheets. The trade off is depth at scale. Reporting, permissions modelling and enterprise integration are lighter than at the top of the market, and organisations with complex hierarchies, multi region data rules or heavy human resources system integration will find the edges sooner than the marketing suggests.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Tovuti LMS.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

TalentLMS: Simpler and cheaper for straightforward internal training where built in interactive authoring is not required.

Absorb LMS: Deeper reporting and enterprise administration for organisations that have outgrown mid market permissions modelling.

Docebo: For larger deployments needing content automation, skills mapping and enterprise integration depth.

Each answer names the page it came from, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
For most standard modules, no, the built in editor covers it. For software simulations and complex interactions you will still want a dedicated authoring product.
Quoted by learner volume and the modules taken, with an implementation fee. It is not published, so compare it against per active user competitors using your own population model.
Yes. It supports separately branded portals and ecommerce, which is why associations and training providers use it as often as internal learning and development teams.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Tovuti LMS, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish.
