Temenos Transact: If ecosystem depth and country compliance packs matter more than deployment speed

Cloud-native core banking and payment hub with deployments measured in months
As of 1 September 2026, Skaleet's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A French core banking platform, formerly TagPay, whose selling point is speed: several named European deployments went live in six to twelve months. Softwr lists it under APIs. Skaleet is available on Web, REST API, Linux.
Overview
Skaleet is a cloud-native core banking platform covering accounts, ledger, cards, lending and a payment engine supporting SEPA, SEPA Instant, SWIFT and native ISO 20022. It can be deployed as a full banking suite or as a standalone payment hub layered over an existing core, which gives banks a way to modernise payments without a full replacement. The evidence that matters is delivery speed on real institutions rather than greenfield startups. Crédit Agricole launched a pan-European digital savings platform on Skaleet, live in Germany within eight months; a BPCE group entity built a corporate bank in the Netherlands in under a year; SD Worx deployed embedded finance in under six months. For a bank that has watched core programmes run for five years, an eight-month reference at a major European group is the single most persuasive fact in the file. Buyers are European banks, payment service providers and corporates launching embedded finance. The trade-off is footprint: with a customer base measured in tens rather than hundreds, the implementation partner pool is small, and a bank that wants a choice of systems integrators will find few who know the platform.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Skaleet.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

TagPay. The company rebranded to Skaleet while keeping the same platform lineage.
Yes. The payment engine is licensable standalone and can sit over an existing core, which is a common first step.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Skaleet, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
