White-label personal finance management and data enrichment platform for banks
As of 1 September 2026, Meniga's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A white-label digital banking add-on that gives a bank's app personal finance management, transaction categorisation, carbon footprint insights and targeted rewards, sold to over 100 million banking customers' worth of bank clients across 30 countries. Softwr lists it under APIs. Meniga is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
Meniga provides transaction data enrichment and categorisation, personal finance management features, carbon footprint estimation, predictive spending analytics and personalised rewards, delivered as white-label modules a bank embeds into its existing mobile or online banking app rather than a standalone consumer product. The fact worth noting is scope creep by acquisition: Meniga began as a personal finance management specialist founded in the aftermath of Iceland's 2008 banking collapse, and has since acquired adjacent businesses such as rewards platform Wrapp to build what it calls the largest transaction-driven rewards platform in the Nordics. A bank evaluating Meniga today for PFM alone should check whether it is also being sold a broader rewards and engagement bundle it may not need. Buyers are retail banks wanting to add data-driven personal finance features to an existing digital banking app without building categorisation and insight engines in house. The trade-off is that, as a white-label layer, its value is entirely dependent on the quality and completeness of the transaction data the host bank feeds it, and a bank with poor underlying transaction data quality will see correspondingly poor categorisation and insight results regardless of Meniga's own engine quality.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Meniga.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.
