DNAnexus is a cloud based platform for managing, analysing and sharing large scale biomedical data. It provides governed storage for multiomic and clinical data, a workflow engine for running bioinformatics pipelines, tooling for building and versioning apps, and controlled collaboration for sharing cohorts between institutions. It hosts several major population scale datasets, including the UK Biobank research analysis platform. The distinguishing fact is regulatory coverage.
