AssetWorks: A comparable public-sector and enterprise fleet and asset management alternative, particularly for government buyers

Fleet management system covering vehicles and equipment assets, sold in three tiers from FleetWave Lite at £3 per vehicle per month upward
As of 1 September 2026, Chevin FleetWave's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. A configurable fleet operations platform covering maintenance, compliance, fuel and total cost of ownership, tiered as Lite, Core and Advanced. Softwr lists it under Fleet Management. Chevin FleetWave is made by Chevin Fleet Solutions, available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
FleetWave manages fleet operations across maintenance scheduling, compliance tracking, fuel management, accident and incident recording, and total cost of ownership reporting for vehicles and, distinctively, other equipment assets tracked in the same system. It is sold in three tiers, FleetWave Lite for smaller or simpler fleets, and Core and Advanced for more complex operational and reporting needs. What is unusual for this category is that Chevin publishes a real starting price: FleetWave Lite runs £3 per vehicle per month, with equipment and associated assets priced separately at $0.50 per asset. Core and Advanced tier pricing is not published and requires a consultation, which is the more typical pattern for enterprise fleet software, but having any published anchor point at all sets FleetWave apart from most competitors in the space. Buyers range from smaller fleets suited to the Lite tier through to large, complex multi-asset-type fleets needing Core or Advanced. The trade-off is that the published Lite price is for a genuinely lighter product, and any fleet with real complexity in compliance, multi-asset tracking or TCO reporting will end up in the unpublished Core or Advanced tiers regardless of the headline £3 figure.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Chevin FleetWave.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Lite is a simpler feature set for smaller or less complex fleets; Core and Advanced add compliance, TCO and multi-asset reporting depth, priced separately.
Yes, equipment and associated assets are tracked within the same platform, priced separately from vehicles.
