What Authentise does
Authentise builds software for engineering and manufacturing workflow in additive manufacturing: order intake and quoting, job scheduling across a mixed printer fleet, machine and process data capture, traceability from raw powder or resin batch through to the finished part, and post-processing and quality steps that additive workflows depend on but generic MES tools ignore. The product is modular, so buyers take the workflow, data and traceability pieces they need rather than a monolithic system, and it is offered on public cloud, private SaaS and ITAR-compliant deployments. The fact worth carrying into an evaluation is that deployment model. Additive work in aerospace and defence routinely involves export-controlled geometry, and a general MES on ordinary cloud infrastructure is not usable for it. Authentise selling an ITAR-capable tier is a large part of why it appears on shortlists against much bigger MES vendors, and it is also why it is comparatively expensive for a commercial job shop that does not need it.
