The short version
- Each has a real cost: Ameyo no pricing is published anywhere for any deployment model, so budgeting requires a sales cycle and there is no way to sanity-check a quote against a public rate card.; Infobip the published calculator shows only the average price across a country's networks, and per-network rates sit behind the portal, so the public figure is not what you will be billed.
- They diverge on capability: Ameyo covers Predictive and progressive dialling, Infobip covers Direct operator connections.
- Prices and features above were last checked on 31 August 2026.

Where each one falls short
Documented limitations, not opinions. Every one is a constraint you would hit in normal use.
Ameyo
- No pricing is published anywhere for any deployment model, so budgeting requires a sales cycle and there is no way to sanity-check a quote against a public rate card.
- On-premise deployment means you also buy servers, telephony connectivity, professional services and ongoing administration, and the licence is often the smaller half of the true cost.
- The Exotel acquisition has moved investment towards the newer XTRM cloud line, which creates a real question about how long the classic on-premise product will receive substantial development.
- It is engineered around large agent counts in low-cost labour markets, so a twenty-seat Western operation gets an interface and an implementation process designed for a very different scale.
- Self-service is limited: unlike Talkdesk or Five9 there is no meaningful way to trial, configure and launch without vendor involvement, so time to first call is measured in weeks rather than days.
Infobip
- The published calculator shows only the average price across a country's networks, and per-network rates sit behind the portal, so the public figure is not what you will be billed.
- Its regional strength is irrelevant to a business sending only to the United States or Western Europe, where cheaper vendors reach the same handsets.
- The engagement suite pushes buyers toward a broader platform commitment than a team that wanted a messaging API had intended to make.
- Enterprise onboarding and contracting take longer than a self-serve competitor, which suits a product still validating a channel poorly.
- US A2P traffic still carries 10DLC registration and per-segment carrier surcharges, so the negotiated rate is not the delivered cost in that market.

Answered from the vendors’ own pages
Ameyo: Is Ameyo still a separate product after the Exotel acquisition?
Yes. It is branded Ameyo by Exotel and keeps its own website, product line and roadmap. It has not been folded into the Exotel product.
Infobip: When is Infobip clearly the right choice?
When a material share of your users are in markets that other vendors reach through intermediaries, such as parts of Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and Latin America. Direct operator connections there improve both delivery rates and the reliability of delivery reporting.
Ameyo: Can I still deploy Ameyo on-premise?
Yes, and it is one of the few remaining contact centre platforms offering a genuine on-premise install alongside cloud and hybrid.
Infobip: Does Infobip publish per-country prices?
Only partly. Its calculator shows the average price across all networks in a country, and it states that per-network pricing is available in the portal. Vendors such as Sinch and Plivo publish more granular rate cards.
Ameyo: What does Ameyo cost?
It is quote-only. Nothing is published for cloud or on-premise, and on-premise adds infrastructure and professional services on top of licensing.
Infobip: Does Infobip own network infrastructure?
Yes, more than most of its competitors. It reports over 800 direct operator connections and owns Peerless Network, a facilities-based US carrier it acquired in 2022.
Ameyo: Where is it sold?
Primarily India and Southeast Asia, with customers in the Middle East and Africa. It is not a mainstream choice in Europe or North America.
