iDenfy: Similar per-verification model with volume discounting and a bundled screening package

Document and biometric identity verification with published per-check pricing
As of 1 September 2026, Veriff starts at $0.8/verification. Identity verification that publishes its rates, $0. Softwr lists it under Cybersecurity. Veriff is available on Web, iOS, Android, API.
Overview
Veriff verifies identity documents and matches them to a live selfie, returning a decision in seconds. It supports government-issued documents from more than two hundred and thirty countries, runs liveness and injection-attack detection on the selfie, and offers proof of address, database checks, and PEP and sanctions screening as add-ons. Integration is by SDK for web, iOS and Android or by hosted redirect flow. The distinguishing fact is transparent pricing. The Essential plan is $0.80 per verification with a $49 monthly minimum; the Plus plan, which adds human review on top of automation, is $1.39 per verification with a $99 monthly minimum. Add-ons are priced individually: PEP and sanctions screening adds $0.64 per verification, ongoing monitoring $0.09, and extended two-year data retention $0.30. In a market where competitors route every enquiry to a sales team, that gives a buyer a public benchmark to negotiate against. Buyers are marketplaces, crypto exchanges, mobility platforms and financial services firms needing KYC or age assurance. The trade-off is that per-verification pricing charges for attempts, not for successful onboardings, so a flow with a poor user experience or high retry rate pays for the same person twice. Modelling cost on expected customers rather than expected verification attempts is the mistake that makes budgets wrong.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Veriff.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Veriff, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
