Gong: If the same conversation intelligence problem exists in sales calls rather than interviews

Records, transcribes and analyses job interviews to make hiring decisions reviewable, now owned by Zoom
As of 31 August 2026, BrightHire's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. Interview intelligence that captures the actual conversation, so hiring debriefs argue about evidence rather than recollection. Softwr lists it under Recruitment. BrightHire is made by BrightHire (Zoom Communications), available on Web.
Overview
BrightHire joins interviews on Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, records and transcribes them, and produces structured notes tied to the interview guide. Interviewers get prompts and scorecards during the call; hiring managers get highlight reels and searchable transcripts afterwards; recruiting leaders get analytics on interviewer talk time, question coverage and consistency across a panel. A separate product, BrightHire Screen, runs AI-led screening interviews and is sold standalone or bundled. The distinguishing value is evidentiary. In most organisations a hiring decision rests on four sets of notes written from memory an hour after the fact, and structured interviewing exists only on paper. BrightHire makes it possible to check whether the required questions were actually asked, whether one panellist spoke for eighty per cent of the call, and what the candidate really said. That is also what makes it defensible to a legal team reviewing adverse impact, and it is the reason it sells to organisations with formal fairness obligations rather than to small teams wanting faster notes. Buyers are talent acquisition functions at mid-sized and large companies with high interview volume. Two commercial facts matter. Zoom acquired BrightHire on 1 December 2025 and runs it as a standalone brand; cross-platform support for Teams and Meet continues today but a buyer standardised on Microsoft should ask for contractual commitment on it. And pricing is quote only, structured as seats for recruiters and hiring managers plus a usage component tied to interview volume, which makes cost hard to predict for a company with a variable hiring plan.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about BrightHire.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.
