The short version

  • Each has a real cost: Remo remo's key assets were acquired by Events.com in January 2025, and Events.com was simultaneously pursuing a public listing through a SPAC merger, so multi-year commitments depend on a roadmap set inside a company in the middle of a corporate transaction.; Tripleseat pricing is quote only across every package. The site states "Why don't you show prices on the website? Because your venue isn't a SKU. Pricing depends on volume, locations, add-ons, and use case," with all plans routing to Request a Demo.
  • They diverge on capability: Remo covers Table floor plans, Tripleseat covers Lead management.
  • Prices and features above were last checked on 31 August 2026.

Where each one falls short

Documented limitations, not opinions. Every one is a constraint you would hit in normal use.

Remo

  • Remo's key assets were acquired by Events.com in January 2025, and Events.com was simultaneously pursuing a public listing through a SPAC merger, so multi-year commitments depend on a roadmap set inside a company in the middle of a corporate transaction.
  • Pricing is banded by attendees per event rather than by total attendees, so an organisation running one large annual conference and many small ones pays for the peak all year unless it buys the separate one-time event product.
  • The browser-only, video-heavy floor model is demanding on bandwidth and hardware, and attendees on corporate networks, older laptops or restricted browsers get degraded experiences that the organiser gets blamed for.
  • Recordings are stored for only thirty days, so any organiser wanting an on-demand library from an event has to export and host the content somewhere else.
  • The spatial interface needs explaining, and events with older or less technical audiences routinely lose the first fifteen minutes to attendees who cannot find how to sit at a table, which is why organisers end up running rehearsal sessions the budget did not include.

Tripleseat

  • Pricing is quote only across every package. The site states "Why don't you show prices on the website? Because your venue isn't a SKU. Pricing depends on volume, locations, add-ons, and use case," with all plans routing to Request a Demo.
