eMaint: Who owns eMaint?
Fluke Reliability, part of Fortive. That is why condition monitoring data from Fluke instruments integrates directly.
Fictiv: Is Fictiv software I can buy?
No. It is an on-demand manufacturing service with a quoting and order management platform. You pay for parts, not for the software.
eMaint: What does it actually cost?
The Team plan is 69 USD per user per month with a three-user minimum, so roughly 2,484 USD a year at the floor. Professional and Enterprise are quoted.
Fictiv: Is Fictiv still independent?
No. MISUMI Group completed its acquisition, valued at $350 million, in June 2025. Fictiv continues to trade under its own name.
eMaint: Is it better than MaintainX or Limble?
Different trade. eMaint is more configurable and better on condition-based maintenance; the others are markedly better on mobile experience and speed of setup. Asset complexity should decide it.
Fictiv: Do I know which factory makes my part?
Generally not. Fictiv manages a vetted network and allocates work within it, which is a limitation if your quality system requires named and audited suppliers.
eMaint: How long does implementation take?
Weeks rather than days for anything beyond a basic work order setup. The configurability that makes it flexible is also what makes setup a project.
Fictiv: Is it cheaper than sourcing directly?
For prototypes and low volumes, usually yes once you count the cost of finding and qualifying a supplier. At stable production volumes, direct sourcing is normally cheaper.
