ezyVet: Deeper functionality and far more integrations for multi-site, specialty and referral practices

Cloud veterinary practice management sold in user bands rather than per seat
As of 31 August 2026, VetBadger starts at $99/month. A chart-centric cloud practice management system for small veterinary clinics, priced in user bands starting at USD 99 a month. Softwr lists it under Veterinary. VetBadger is available on Web, iOS, Android.
Overview
VetBadger is cloud-based practice management software for veterinary clinics, built around the patient chart. It covers scheduling, medical records, invoicing, client communication by SMS and email from within the chart, exam reporting, integrated telehealth and QuickBooks accounting sync. Hosting and backup are included rather than sold as an extra, which is not universal in a market where on-premises servers are still common. The pricing structure is what a buyer needs to model carefully. It is banded by user count rather than charged per user: roughly USD 99 a month for one to two users, USD 249 for three to ten, USD 499 for eleven to twenty and USD 599 for twenty-one to forty. A practice with exactly three users therefore pays USD 249, the same as one with ten, which works out at USD 83 per user rather than the USD 24.90 a full band would give. Crossing a band boundary produces a step change, not a gradual increase, so the moment you hire a third or an eleventh user your software bill jumps. Buyers are independent single-site small animal clinics, particularly ones migrating from a legacy server-based system and unwilling to run their own hardware. The trade-off is scope: VetBadger targets general practice and does not carry the specialty, referral, equine or large multi-site depth found in the bigger platforms, and its integration list is shorter than the market leaders, which matters most for in-house laboratory and imaging equipment.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about VetBadger.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

Not really. It is built for general small animal practice and lacks specialty, referral and equine workflow depth.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for VetBadger, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish.
