Florence eBinders is an eISF, or electronic investigator site file. It holds the regulatory documents a research site must maintain per study: delegation logs, training records, protocol versions, CVs, IRB correspondence and source documents, with electronic signature, version control and a full audit trail. Its companion SiteLink layer lets sponsors and CROs access site documents remotely rather than travelling to monitor them. The distinguishing commercial fact is who pays. Sites often recover the cost of eRegulatory technology through sponsor budgets as a per study line item, and Florence prices with that reimbursement explicitly in mind rather than publishing a rate card.
