Alkami: If you need the digital banking channel itself rather than a personalisation layer on top

Data driven personalisation and money insights inside a bank's existing app
As of 1 September 2026, Personetics's pricing is not published; the vendor quotes on request. An engagement layer that reads a bank's transaction data and surfaces insights, nudges and product prompts inside the bank's own app. Softwr lists it under Technology. Personetics is available on Web, API, iOS, Android.
Overview
Personetics analyses a bank's transaction and account data to generate personalised insights, alerts, savings prompts and product recommendations that appear inside the bank's existing digital banking channel. Rather than replacing an app, it enriches it: unusual charge detected, subscription price increased, projected shortfall before payday, suggested transfer to savings. Thoma Bravo made a significant growth investment in the company, and it sells mainly to large retail banks across Europe, North America and Asia. The commercial argument is engagement that produces balances. Banks buy it because app sessions where the customer is told something useful correlate with retention and with deposit growth, and because a savings nudge that moves money into a savings product is directly measurable. The uncomfortable part, which vendor materials skate over, is attribution: separating money the customer would have saved anyway from money moved by a nudge requires a holdout group most banks do not properly run, so the reported return on investment is often a correlation dressed as causation. Buyers are retail banks with a digital channel already in place and a data warehouse capable of feeding it. The trade offs: it depends entirely on transaction data quality and merchant enrichment, so a bank with poor categorisation gets wrong or embarrassing insights; deployment involves data pipelines, model tuning and channel integration, typically six to twelve months; and pricing is enterprise scale and quoted, usually on customer counts, which makes it hard to justify at a small institution.
The honest half
Concrete and checkable, so you can decide whether any of them matter to you. This is the half of a review a vendor will not write about Personetics.
Cross-shopped
Each pairing was judged by two reviewers asking whether a buyer would genuinely weigh the two against each other. The ones that failed were deleted rather than published.

No. It enriches the app you already have by delivering insights and prompts into it.
Usually incremental savings balances and engagement lift. Insist on a holdout group in the pilot, or the numbers will overstate the effect.
Typically six to twelve months, dominated by data pipelines, categorisation quality and channel integration rather than the product itself.

Softwr does not host reviews and shows no star rating for Personetics, because a rating we did not collect is not ours to publish. What is here is the pricing and platform detail from the vendor’s own pages, limitations we could state concretely, and alternatives a reviewer confirmed people weigh against it.
